The Year 5 students are learning how to make comparisons, so they have chosen two animals to compare and make a poster.

Our recipes

The Year 6 students are learning vocabulary of food and the grammar structure "There is/There are and Some/Any" as well as some connectors. That is why, as an end of unit project they have chosen their favourite food to write a recipe.

This is our town

The Year 4 students are learning vocabulary related to the town: hospital, train station, police station, newsagents', shops, bus stop, cinema, café, museum and supermarket, and the grammar structure "there is/there are", so to interiorise it better they have designed their own town in groups.

After that, they have presented their town to the rest of the class:

Dress the doll

The Year 2 students are learning vocabulary about clothes, and in order to practice it they have made a display with a doll, a cupboard and some clothes: jumper, skirt, coat, shorts, trousers, shirt, T-shirt and shoes and socks.

They have been playing with their dolls, trying them different outfits. Then, they have chosen an outfit to describe to the rest of the class.

The Year 1 students are learning the family members in English: father, mother, sister, brother, baby, grandmother, grandfather, aunt, uncle and cousins.

The Year 4 students are learning how to describe people using the strucutre "He/She has got... or He/She hasn't got...".

The Superlative

The Year 6 students are learning how to use the superlative, so they have worked in groups to describe a geographical feature of their choice, such as the tallest waterfall, the oldest tree, the tallest tree and the most active volcano.
