Christmas Carols

As part of the European project, the Year 4 and Year 5 students have prepared three Christmas Carols to share with the other countries.
Here you can see our Christmas Carols performance. We sing "Silent Night", then "Noche de Paz" and finally "El noi de la mare".

Christmas Crackers

In the Arts and Crafts class the Year 4 and Year 5 studens have made some Christmas Crackers to share with their families.
Christmas crackers are part of Christmas celebrations primarily in the United Kingdom, Ireland and Commonwealth countries such as Australia, Canada, New Zeland and South Africa. A cracker consists of a cardboard tube wrapped in a brightly decorated twist of paper, making it resemble an oversized sweet-wrapper.
Crackers are typically pulled at the Christmas dinner table or at parties. The person with the larger portion of cracker empties the contents from the tube and keeps them. Typically these contents are a coloured paper crown, a riddle or a joke and a toy. However, we have put little chocolates instead of a toy.

Froggy gets dressed

The 3, 4 and 5 years old pupils are learning some vocabulary related with clothes. To do so, we are using the story book "Froggy gets dressed"

The book is about a frog called Froggy who wants to go outside to play with the snow, but, to do so, he needs to get dressed.

We use the story prompts to retell the story:

We need to put on his socks, trousers, boots, t-shirt, coat, scarf, hat and gloves. Here you have some of the steps, not all of them, in dressing up Froggy:
